Sports Injury & Remedial Massage
Before, during and after:
Specialist sports massage techniques and stretches are used in order to prevent or aid in the
rehabilitation of a sports injury.
'When life it takes it out of you massage puts it back' (Clare Maxwell-Hudson)
Massage works! Because pain does not always indicate where the problem lies, a 'whole organism'
approach is used.
Using the breath is encouraged as it becomes key in focusing the mind to release muscular trauma
and tension. Remedial massage treats a wide range of symptoms, conditions and
the origins of any imbalance.
After an initial consultation consisting of the client's medical history and movement analysis of the
site(s), the treatment given will be according to the needs and requests of the client.
You don't need to be a sportsperson to benefit from remedial massage!

Client Testimonial

After 2-3 years of constant discomfort and pain, following a visit to a chropractor I was advised to contact Shannon.
Since attending her clinic, the Remedial massage and the advice on stretches and care, has resulted in a remarkable improvement. This has vastly reduced the pain and alleviated the discomfort. Shannon's clinic is run in a friendly and professional manner, where you are made to feel at ease and able to discuss the way forward with your treatment in confidence - I am therefore glad to recommend Shannon
