The connection between stress, anxiety and muscle tension is evident.

When we repeat the same actions, whether it is postural or mechanical,

through need or habit, the muscles become inhibited and lose their

elasticity. Over time, soft tissue loses its' ability to release and injury

takes the form of RSI (repetitive strain injury), tendonitis, nerve pain, headaches etc.

Tiffany Field of 'The Touch Institute' (Uni. of Miami, Florida), is dedicated to medically researching

the effects of massage on all manner of subjects (asthmatics, premature babies, etc.)  It is

providing overwhelming positive evidence (reducing blood pressure, etc) that has elevated the

status of massage to that of mainstream.

Even Google has it's own 'Massage Program'...

After 2-3 years of constant discomfort and pain, following a visit to a chropractor I was advised to contact Shannon.

Since attending her clinic, the Remedial massage and the advice on stretches and care, has resulted in a remarkable improvement. This has vastly reduced the pain and alleviated the discomfort. Shannon's clinic is run in a friendly and professional manner, where you are made to feel at ease and able to discuss the way forward with your treatment in confidence - I am therefore glad to recommend Shannon
